Congratulations Notre Dame Academy Tritons – 2025 South Division Champions

Congratulations West De Pere Phantoms – 2025 North Division Champions

2026 will be the third year that the Fox River Classic Conference has 16 teams compete across two divisions.  FRCC North (Appleton West, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest, Pulaski, and West De Pere) FRCC South (Green Bay East, Green Bay West, Manitowoc, Menasha, Notre Dame Academy, Oshkosh North, Sheboygan North and Sheboygan South).  Teams play non-conference games the first two weekends of the season before they settle into conference play.  Each Division crowns its own champion and each division qualifies its own teams for WIAA play-off consideration.

West De Pere repeated as the 2025 FRCC North Division Champions.  The Phantoms will carry a 14 game FRCC win streak into the 2026 season.  Notre Dame Academy won the 2025 South Division title for the third consecutive year.  The Tritons FRCC win streak stands at 23 games.

The FRCC was again well represented in the WIAA State Football Play-offs as 8 teams qualified for the 2025 tournament series.  Bay Port and De Pere in Division 1 and Ashwaubenon, Menasha, Notre Dame, Pulaski, Oshkosh North and West De Pere in Division 2.  5 teams made it to the third round (BP, DP, WDP, NDA and ON). Three teams competed for a State Championship.  Bay Port in Division 1 and West De Pere and Notre Dame met in the Division 2 Championship game.

Bay Port was defending it’s 2024 State title but was unable to do so narrowly loosing to Arrowhead 18-15.  After winning the Division 3 State Title in 2024 Notre Dame moved up to Division 2 in accordance with the WIAA success formula.  The Tritons, the FRCC South Champions, showed they belonged, making it to the D2 State Championship game where they would meet FRCC North Champion West De Pere.  The Phantoms made it to the 2025 D2 Championship game after losing in the semi-final the previous year.  West De Pere went on to defeat Notre Dame in a battle of undefeated FRCC Champions 28-14.

Over the course of the past two seasons the FRCC can lay claim to 3 WIAA State Championships and two runner-up finishes.
