The 2025 FRCC Fall Sports seasons are approaching their halfway points for most sports while the Girls Golf and Girls Tennis seasons are winding down. Once again, the schools of the FRCC have challenged themselves against top non-conference competition from schools around the state in preparation for FRCC conference play and the upcoming WIAA Tournaments.
A big change from a year ago is the addition of West De Pere to the Fox River Classic Conference after having competed in the Bay Conference since 1970. The FRCC however, remains a 10 team conference as the Phantoms replaced Sheboygan South as the Redwings moved to the newly formed Glacier Trails Conference.
Following is a quick recap and a look forward to the sports sponsored by the FRCC this fall in the order that their seasons will conclude.

Cross Country
The FRCC Cross Country Champion is determined solely at the conference meet. The FRCC Cross Country meet will be held on October 16 at the UWGB Shorewood course starting at 3:00pm.
Green Bay Preble is the two time defending champion on the boys side. To win a 3rd straight title, the Hornets will have to hold off a challenge from De Pere who has finished as the runner-up the past two seasons. De Pere boasts one of the top runners in the State in Grady Lenn who was the runner-up in last year’s WIAA D1 State Cross Country Meet. Lenn, the FRCC record holder, will try to build off his success from this past spring when he won the 1600 and 3200 meter runs at the WIAA State Track and Field Meet. Lenn currently sports the third best time in the state this year as compiled by athletic.net at 15.26. Preble and De Pere qualified as teams for last year’s state meet.
Green Bay Preble is also the defending FRCC Champion on the girls side. It was the Hornets first title as a member of the FRCC. Preble will look to repeat this year, but will be pushed by Pulaski, Notre Dame and De Pere who have all fared well this fall. Both Green Bay Preble and Notre Dame qualified as teams for last year’s state meet.
After competing in Division 1 in both boys and girls last year because of the WIAA success formula, Notre Dame will move back to Division 2 this year.
WIAA Cross Country Sectionals are Saturday, October 25.
