Thadd Cornell, head coach at Manitowoc Lincoln notched career win number 300 as a head coach with the Ships victory over former FRCC member Green Bay West on Tuesday night in a non-conference match-up.  62 of those 300 wins have been in Manitowoc, where Cornell has coached since the 2017-18 season.  Cornell has also had coaching stints at Boscobel, Grafton, Shawano and Mishicot.  Congratulations Coach Cornell.

In an early showdown between two of the pre-season favorites in the FRCC, De Pere pulled away late to defeat Ashwaubenon 60-45 in a game Tuesday night.  With the win, De Pere extends their overall win streak to 37 games and currently has won 28 games in a row in FRCC play.  Ashwaubenon drops to 3-1 in the conference.  Sheboygan North is the other remaining undefeated team in the conference at this point with a 3-0 record.

Notre Dame is the three-time defending State Champions in Division 2 and are continuing their quest to make it four in a row this year.

Boys Hockey

With the sport of Hockey being sponsored by five schools in the conference, the conference season is abbreviated and concludes with a conference tournament at the end of January.  Bay Port currently holds the top spot in the conference with a 3-0 record and only one conference game remaining against Notre Dame.  The Tritons who are defending FRCC Champs and Defending State Champs in Division 1 have yet to have a conference game.

After regular season conference play, the teams are then seeded according to their regular season record in conference games for the end of season tournament which will decide the conference Champion.
